I have been spending so much of my free time developing this game, that I completely forgot about archiving it somewhere.
I have created this itch.io page to be the marketplace for the game. This is where the final version will live, but I will also add the playtest versions as I make them.
This game has been on my mind ever since the 2020 Lockdowns, I was simply too lazy to work on it. I have made several Google docs with fragmented ideas and versions of rules or game mechanics, but none of them looked or felt professional. Many people may find this next bit of information disheartening but let me make my case. This game uses AI artwork, Midjourney for all of the illustrations. I have studied art and animation but there is no way I could create as much artwork and to the level as you will find in the PDFs. I don't have the money to hire a human artist, I'm simply one guy transferring his Google Doc scribbles into Photoshop. I do have training in Graphic Design, so all of that is me. The titles, text and rules all came from me. The AI art is simply a way to make others "see" what I see in my head when thinking about the game and the setting. I hope that if you are reading this, you will give the game the benefit of the doubt and come to it with an open mind.
I finished the first playtest rules in September of 2024. I ran a one-shot with a group of TTRPG players. They seemed to all like it, generally speaking, but gave a lot of helpful feedback. A lot of the feedback was simply making some of the rules more streamlined or easier to understand. I was also inspired to create the Journey's and Hacking systems. I have not playtested these yet, so there's no guarantee they will be any good. In V2 I also decided to change the Species section, wherein each Species is its own unique class. Each Species will have certain abelites that others do not.
I am currently hard at work on playtestV2, which is nearing completion. I am estimating only a week or two longer before it is finished, after which time I would like to run an actual playtest with the same group as before.
There is not much in the way of Lore or Factions, etc. These are features I will add once I have determined that the rules are solid.
